Komquat Festival 1-26-08

We set up to let everyone know about Dade City's Wild Things and allot of the products available in our gift shop.  We took Cleo our ambassador African Serval and our American Alligator.  Everyone enjoyed seeing and touching the tail of the alligator - of course we emphasized this was a yearling born in captivity and that it would be illegal to do this with a wild born alligator.  I again want to Thank our volunteers who made it so much easier to reach everyone about the Zoo.  The following volunteers helped:  Mr Charles Hoffay of New Port Richey, Mr Eldridge Rogers of Dade City, Mrs Brenda Maddox of Bushnell, Erica Pittman of Dade City, Ms Jois Sherry of Dade City, Ms Peggy Anderson of Dade City.

Dade City's Wild Things gave the newlyweds a ride in the trolley to the Historical Court House steps.   Lucy Avila in conjuction with the Chamber of Commerce to put together a wonderful wedding and honeymoon package with some added gifts from local merchants.  We wish them the best ! !
