New Tiger - Siberian (Amur) Tianah
Meet Tianah our newest addition, she is a female siberian (amur) tiger. She was adopted 3/6/08, she weights 60 lbs and is around 6 months old. She is very sweet and loves to play. Her favorite is to dip her toys in water and run around with it - wetting herself and everyone near. She will come chuffling up to you at the fence and as I reach through to scratch her, she starts to stand on her head because she is so excited and wants to have her back scratched. (most cats rub side to side-but she stands on her head). She is out little ambassador right now and you can come see her Sunday at the Steeplechase in Dade City - see other blog for more information on this. Will update with more pictures.
We sure had fun at the Steeplechase - Tianah had fun and was a good girl. We have been walking her daily on her leash and she is actually learning manners - she starts to jump up on me and i tell her no down and she is starting to mind. Its great - we still are kicking balls and she runs (me too, getting my exercise) after it and pounces. Its great - I am also actually teaching her to stay off the plants so Kenny does not get mad.
