Mark your calendars for April 5th in Gainesville. Julie Lewin from the National
Institute for Animal Advocacy will be giving a workshop at the University of Florida
Levin College of Law. A copy of the flyer for the event is available here (pdf).
The event is free, but be sure to check out the flyer for information on the time,
location, and RSVP instructions. From the flyer:

Julie is our movement’s top expert on winning state, county, and local laws for
animals and their aggressive enforcement. The University of Florida’s Animal Law
Association invites all animal advocates to join us for this important event. We
urge all groups to send two representatives—don’t let this opportunity pass by!
Julie’s presentation/workshop will focus on how to win strong state and local laws
and policies to protect animals—and their aggressive enforcement! We can become
power players for animals at every level of government. Julie will tell us how!
We are wasting our great potential power, and—tragically— suffering animals pay
the price. We must lobby through political organizations, as every other issue group
does.

Anyone and everyone who is passionate about animal issues will not want to miss
this major event !
