Cypress Creek Jaguar Adoption - Sheba

With a history as deep as the roots Cypress Gardens was founded on more than
72 years ago is being closed again for more renevations and changes.  The existing
animal exhibits and rides being permanently closed.  After extensive searching to
find the right homes for these animals, Dade City's WIld Things was selected
as the best home for the rare and endangered 17 year old black jaguar.
They were chosen for their experience with large cats and because they already
have two jaguars at their zoo.  Sheba the 17 year old jaguar required patience in
loading but was successfully transported to the Zoo. She was easily introduced to
her companion cat BJ.  Dade City's Wild Things President Randy Stearns welcomes
the new addition to the zoo and becoming a part of history having a piece of Florida's
first theme park. We welcome visitors to come see Sheba and the over 170 animals
surrounded by botanical gardens in Dade City, Fla. We offer two guided tours a day
