We appreciate the kind words and the support - We work hard and enjoy every moment - but some times its more than we can do - We are very short this month - need to get $600.00 for electric bills, $350.00 for extra hay and bedding, heaters for this heat wave, and food. I took my son there last year when we were visiting my father in law. We live in Cape Coral, Fl. It was great! I will send a little something and will also post a link in the free Cape Coral website to let all know about you. We hope to be back soon.

Today i went with my daughters to wild thing for the first time and at first i did not know if it was going to be good or have alot of animal but wow was i blown away so many animals and soooo close lions and tigers and bears oh my it truly left us speechless and it was a great experence

My friends and myself had the pleasure of visiting your refuge April 1st of this year. We had an AWESOME time touring to see all the animals and learning some of their history. We especially enjoyed the male & female lions you have and the highlight of our visit was the feeding of the 3 new tiger cubs! We have been sharing our pictures taken during our tour with family and friends and encouraging them to stop by for a visit. We have shared your website with them as well so they can contact you for tour reservations and learn a little more about you before they visit. Thank you so much, first for caring about and for the wildlife on our planet and secondly for sharing them with us humans. It warms the heart to know you are there for them.

I'm not a sanctuary-just have one cougar. I did not hear the outcome of the February meetings in Gainesville & Jacksonville. I am not a breeder or exhibitor, but will hopefully be
grandfathered-in to keep her. I have 5 acres. In the past I had to keep a friend's cougar also when he moved until his new enclosure was complete.

Effective August 27, 2009 new laws did take effect - you will be grandfatherd in but their are allot of requirements and limitations with this grandfather clause - so be careful to understand fully what is required and how to keep your status . . any questions email or call and I will help you or get you to Tallahassee for all the info you might need.
